The Sauerland region is known as the land of 1,000 mountains, but we take it literally: there are 2,711 peaks waiting to be discovered. Our hotel is located in the idyllic village of Böminghausen (population 45) near Kirchhundem—on the sunny side of a mountain (496 m above sea level) and right on the edge of the forest.
Activity and Passion
Whether on two wheels or on foot—you've come to the right place. Motorcyclists appreciate the magnificent curves right outside the door, cyclists the trails of the Bike Arena, and hikers the direct access to the Rothaarsteig hiking trail. In winter, the region transforms into a paradise for downhill and cross-country skiers.
Especially for our guests traveling by bicycle, we offer three lockable garages, a workshop for minor repairs, washing and polishing facilities, and a drying room for clothing. A large private parking area is also available.
SPA and Rejuvenation
After an active day in nature, there's nothing better than letting your mind wander. Relax in our in-house sauna and recharge. The soothing warmth and absolute tranquility at the edge of the forest offer perfect rejuvenation for body and mind.
Enjoyment and Comfort
End your evening with a good glass of wine or a freshly tapped beer in our cozy lounge. Personalized service awaits you in our restaurant in a relaxed atmosphere (reservations recommended).
With 11 double rooms and 1 single room, we can accommodate up to 23 people. Families with children are very welcome, and pets are also welcome by prior arrangement. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
